USFA On-Duty Death: Louisiana

The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Jonathan Ashworth, 23, of Beauregard Parish Fire District 4 on 15 July 2025.

Firefighter Jonathan Ashworth was responding to an emergency medical call at approximately 3:35 a.m. on July 15, 2025, when his personal vehicle left the roadway and crashed. He was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene.
