The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Fire Captain Garret Miller, 44, of the Barstow Fire Protection District on 21 October 2024.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Fire Captain Garret Miller was on duty at Fire Station 366 when he suffered a medical emergency. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he remained for two weeks until his passing from a cardiovascular event.
