The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter/Paramedic Kyle Brinker, 33, of the Kansas City Fire Department on 17 September 2024.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Firefighter/Paramedic Kyle Brinker suffered a medical emergency during a fire department training exercise. He was immediately transported to the North Kansas City Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
