The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Thomas Wilson Berry III, 23, of the Georgetown Fire Company, Inc. on 13 August 2024.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Firefighter Thomas Wilson Berry, III was dispatched to respond to a motor vehicle accident. While on scene, a utility pole snapped, bringing down electrical wires. Firefighter Berry sustained life-threatening injuries and died on the scene.
