The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Ty Voth, 27, of the Wichita Fire Department on 1 August 2024.

On Thursday, August 1, 2024, Firefighter Ty Voth, while at the scene of a house fire, collapsed. He was immediately taken to the local hospital where he passed away. The cause of his death has yet to be determined.
