The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Safety Officer Daniel Potts, 74, of the Whitney Fire Department on 24 November 2023.
On Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, Safety Officer Daniel Potts was at the fire station. He was getting in his support vehicle to respond to a residential fire when he was found unconscious. He was pronounced deceased at the scene from an apparent heart attack.
