The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of District Chief David Phelps, 74, of the Prairieton Fire Department on 2 November 2023.
On Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, District Chief David Phelps was at the scene of a residential fire, where he was found deceased inside a fire apparatus from an apparent heart attack.
