The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter/Paramedic Charles D. Swank, 39, of the Washington Township Fire Department on 8 December 2022.
On Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, while attending fire department mandated training in Pensacola, Florida, Firefighter/Paramedic Charles D. Swank suffered a medical emergency. He was immediately transported to the local hospital where he passed away a short time later. The cause of his death has yet to be determined.
