EMMITSBURG, Md. — The United States Fire Administration (USFA) has announced the on-duty death of Sergeant Adam Amrozi, 52, of the Lincoln Park Fire Department on 19 July 2026.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Sergeant Adam Amrozi ended his scheduled 24-hour shift at approximately 9:00 a.m. after being held over. He responded to 17 calls during the shift spanning July 17 and July 18. On the morning of July 19, Sgt. Amrozi suffered a cardiovascular event and was discovered unresponsive at 7:15 a.m. at his home. He was transported to the hospital, where despite all efforts from medical professionals, he passed away later that morning.
