Ohio Firefighter/Paramedic Unresponsive in Firehouse

MILLERSBURG, Ohio — Holmes Fire District No. 1 reported the death of Firefighter/Paramedic Kyle Yoder on 4 July.

The department said in a Facebook post that Yoder had completed his scheduled shift at 6:00 a.m. and left. He then returned to the firehouse at approximately 9:00 a.m.

The on-duty ambulance crew, arriving after a call, found Yoder on the ground inside the firehouse. CPR was immediately started, and he was transported to Pomerene Hospital, where he later died.
