South Dakota Firefighter Dies During Fire

LAKE COUNTY, South Dakota – A South Dakota volunteer firefighter was stricken while fighting a structure fire on Saturday, 22 April.

KELO and Dakota News Now reported that the firefighter suffered a medical emergency while on the scene of a hog containment structure fire. CPR was started and he was transported to the Madison Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
