USFA On-Duty Death: New York (2021)

The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Lieutenant Joseph  “Joe” Maiello, 53, of the Fire Department of New York on 26 December 2021.

On Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021, while on-duty, Lieutenant Joseph  “Joe” Maiello was found unresponsive at the fire station. He was pronounced deceased at the scene from an apparent heart attack.
