The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter/EMT Thomas Joseph Rees, 38, of the Jefferson Township Fire Department on 28 December 2021.
On Tuesday, December 28, 2021 Firefighter/EMT Thomas Joseph Rees did not wake for a dispatch run minutes before roll call, when another Firefighter checked on Firefighter/EMT Rees he was discovered deceased in his bunk. Autopsy report stated that he had a major coronary event.
