The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Anthony Michael Carfagno, 58, of the Atlantic City Fire Department on on 21 December 2021.
On Thursday, November 25, 2021 shortly after working a shift Firefighter Anthony Michael Carfagno began showing symptoms and signs of COVID-19, after a lengthy battle he succumbed on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
