EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Jessie Henry, 28, of South Bossier Fire District No.2 on 18 December 2021.
On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, Firefighter Jessie Henry was performing maintenance on one of the department’s fire trucks when the apparatus’ tire blew up. He was immediately transported to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport where he passed away from his injuries a short time later.
