EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Firefighter Gerald A. Brooks, 49, of the Indianapolis Fire Department on 2 November 2021.
While on duty Firefighter Gerald A. Brooks responded to numerous EMS calls. He subsequently contracted COVID-19 and passed away from the virus on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021.
