EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Driver/Engineer Giovanni Ciancio, 55, of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue on 21 October 2021.
Driver/Engineer Giovanni Ciancio responded to an EMS call with a patient with a known case of COVID-19. He subsequently contracted the virus and passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021.
