USFA On-Duty Death: Colorado

EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Captain Darcy Stallings, 34, of the Yuma Volunteer Fire Department on 21 October 2021.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, Captain Darcy Stallings was responding to a residential fire call in his privately owned vehicle, when he was involved in a rear-end crash with a tractor trailer.  He passed away at the scene of the accident.
