EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Driver/Operator Robert Liguez, 52, of the Alice Fire Department on 17 September 2021.

Driver/Operator Robert Liguez contracted COVID-19 while responding to numerous EMS calls.  Many of the patients he assisted tested positive for the virus. He passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021.
