EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Fire Chief Randy Miner, 57, of the Mary Ann Township Fire Department on 26 September 2021.
On Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, Fire Chief Randy Miner responded to an EMS call with a patient with a known case of COVID-19. He subsequently contracted the virus and passed away on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.
