EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of District Chief Marshal Hilley, 53, of the Gulfport Fire Department on 1 September 2021.
While on duty, District Chief Marshal Hilley contracted COVID-19 while at the fire station. He passed away from the virus on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
