EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The United States Fire Administration has announced the death of Fire Police Captain Laron Holcomb, 73, of the Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department on 4 September 2021.
On Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, Fire Police Captain Laron Holcomb responded to a vehicle crash. After arriving home, he began to have shortness of breath. He was immediately taken to the hospital but passed away shortly after arrival from an apparent heart attack.
